    • Ensure you are vaccinated and they are up-to-date
  • Hep C
    • Hep C is a virus that affects the liver, undiagnosed and untreated it can be very serious and even fatal.
    • Ensure that you and your partner are tested regularly and sterile procedure is followed and equipment not shared. Hep C can remain alive longer outside the body than HIV and is more easily transmitted. In the UK you will only be treated for Hep C once on the NHS due to the cost of treatment.
